  • The Tuli Block

The Private Game Reserve is located in the Tuli Block in the southeast of Botswana. It is only a 510 km drive from Johannesburg airport to the Reserve, taking a leisurely 6 hours to travel by car. For those who prefer to fly, an airstrip in the reserve facilitates a quick flight. The Tuli Block is officially classified as a low-risk malaria area.

  • Botswana

Botswana is topographically flat, with up to 70 percent of its territory being the Kalahari Desert. It is bordered by South Africa to the south and southeast, Namibia to the west and north, and Zimbabwe to the northeast. Botswana has one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. The economy is dominated by mining, cattle, and tourism.

  • Africa

Most people that go to Africa will get bitten by the so called African bug! They fall in love with the bush, smell, nature, wildlife, beautiful night skies, and the possibility to unwind totally. They know on which continent their next holiday will be and might even fantasize about living there.

A day at the reserve

On your first day of waking up in our Private Game Reserve, chances are you will fall in love immediately. Why? Because you can experience the Reserve and wildlife in your own way!

  • Good morning

Take a 4×4 and drive to your favourite spot at your own pace.  Enjoy a coffee and some home-made muffins freshly baked by our staff. You can also go on a later drive, pack a lunch, and stay out for the full day.  The Reserve is yours to explore.

  • The Wildlife

The wildlife in our reserve is simply one of the most diverse you can find. For example: Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Wild Dogs and over 400 bird species.

  • The Sundowner

Enjoy a Sundowner privately or with other co-owners. You can also decide to enjoy your Sundowner in one of the hides at a waterhole and wait for the animals to come and drink. Enjoy the most stunning sunsets and don’t forget to bring your torch.

  • Diner is served

After an active day in the Reserve you will be ready for a relaxing evening. A warm fire in the boma will welcome you when you return to your lodge. Sit down, enjoy and wait for an excellent dinner to be served by one of our experienced chefs.

  • Gaze through a telescope

Prepare yourself to be impressed. The conditions to see stars at the Reserve are extraordinary. We bet you have never seen the Galaxy like this before.

Widlife at the reserve

Every co-owner probably has their favourite animal. Whether it’s wild dogs hunting for food, an elephant doing a mock charge, a roaring lion or a marabou flying over. It’s all happening in the Tuli Block.

The Co-Owners

The co-owners of our game reserve consist of a wide range of nationalities, South-African, Dutch, Spanish, English, Scottish, Scandinavian, American and German. With entrepreneurial backgrounds or careers in finance, doctoral, lawyers etc. There is one thing they all have in common. An incredible admiration and love for the African wildlife.

Malcolm

South-Africa

For me personally, Botswana represents the “old Africa”. Slow, methodical but with a solid bureaucracy, extremely low population per square kilometer, vast areas of almost unspoiled wilderness with protected game areas.

The way I see the investment in this reserve is not as an investment as such. I see it as a way to protect a part of Africa, together with people with similar interests and to leave a heritage to my children. Something much more valuable than any sum of money that I could leave them.

Birds chirping, impalas drinking and monkeys playing – it’s a unique combination of sounds that only a few have the privilege of waking up to. And if you’re really lucky, you might even spot a hippo swimming in the Limpopo while you enjoy your morning shower.
